The InfralineEnergy Excellence Awards 2007 Winners were announced on October 12, 2007

The Energy Awards annually would recognize outstanding achievement and vision in the Indian energy industry. The judging process relied on the expertise of an impartial panel of Energy and Finance experts, policy makers, heads of major energy companies and leading academics. Winners of the Awards were announced at a gala celebration on Friday, October 12, 2007 at Hotel Intercontinental, the Grand, Barakhamba Road, New Delhi from 6 pm onwards (till 10 pm).

The top tier Government officials from the Prime Minister's Office, Ministry of Petroleum, Ministry of Power, Ministry of Coal and Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Chief Secretary representations from State Governments, Chairmen of State Regulatory Commissions were also present.
